Uzbekistan as well as Egypt plan to improve connections in the area of food. Uzbek diplomats were in contact with Amal Samir, the deputy chairman of the Egyptian Chamber of Food Industries discussing trade issues as well as joint production Dunyo IA reported.
Egypt expressed its interest in expanding imports of Uzbek fruits, vegetables and dried fruit. Both parties discussed the creation of a cooperation agreement within the food sector in joint production as well as organizing export import operations.
In order to establish connections and build collaboration with the relevant organisations and businesses in Uzbekistan An agreement was made to arrange online conferences in the near future with presence of representatives from business organizations from both Uzbekistan as well as Egypt.
