The thief in Melon is stopped by a drone

The Local Police of Almenara, located in the province of Castellon has managed to detain two people who stole melons from a field within the municipality. This was due to drones during their surveillance. The two were taken to justice after they were arrested red-handed by agents.

The head of the Local Police, Javier Navarro reported that police had spotted two persons collecting melons in violation of authorization on one of the security flights. After arriving at the spot and seized the culprits, they were able to stop them from taking 400-500 kilos of melons.

Local Police drone flights concentrate on preventing and detecting of theft from crops, as well as the detection of spills that are not controlled.
