It received an overwhelming positive reviews from those who visited the exhibit. “We traveled to Berlin to further strengthen our presence with the European market, and were met by a flurry of interest for our fiber packaging products to the industry of fresh fruits and vegetables,” said Mark Rohrbach Regional Manager of Detpak. “The fresh produce market is a seasonal one, so we’re looking forward to expand our reach within the Australian market through exploring potential within and around the Northern Hemisphere during their counter season.”
Detpak has a specialization in creating specific packaging products, designed to satisfy the individual requirements of each client. Even though the packaging is high-end, Mark explained that Detpak doesn’t specifically target the market for high-end products. Local production may have shorter time frames, we’re an agile and flexible company and the packaging is able to be purchased prior to the time.
“While we recognize that fiber packaging for fresh food can be found in a variety of places but our aim isn’t to directly compete against European producers. We are instead investigating the new solutions that are available within Europe and are considering creating our own product.”
