The delivery of tropical fruits originate from India to Russia might be increased

7 July 2023 the representatives of Rosselkhoznadzor attended at the Indian mango Festival “AAMRUS-2023” which was organized through the Embassy of the Republic of India in Russia. Opening ceremony was attended by officials of both countries.

Vasily Lavrovsky, from Rosselkhoznadzor In his address in his speech, expressed the hope that the event would aid in create a long-term relationship among Indian mango producers as well as Russian importers. The speaker also emphasized that the issue of phytosanitary security in mango imports was extensively researched, and there is currently no restriction on the import of tropical fruit to Russia.

Additionally, as the construction of the corridor for transportation between North and South as well as the possibility of shipping Indian agricultural goods to Russia seem very promising.
