South African parliament celebrates avocado export deal with China

The night before in the evening, parliamentarians from the South African parliament issued a declaration to be pleased with the avocado export agreement signed with China the statement describing it as “concrete confirmation of the enormous advantages of the enormous benefits BRICS offers us as well as all of our partners.”

As per the South African Avocado Growers’ Association estimates that the average three-year annual production of avocados of South Africa is 139,400 tons with 45 percent of that is shipped in fresh form to Europe. In the wake of the launch to the Chinese market South Africa has an opportunity to increase the avocado plantations that will significantly create farm-based jobs and indirectly, through opportunities downstream of the farms according to the report.
