Martin Scherpenhuizen Beheer will seek to buy indirectly the entire shares of Van Oers United, the business that operates under the brand name Primeale United. Both companies made their request for the approval of their acquisition at the Authority for Consumers and Markets on the 19th of December, 2014.

Its main business is the selling of Dutch vegetables, primarily wholesale, packing as well as storage and transportation of many varieties of vegetables and fruits.
Furthermore, Scherpenhuizen is active in the production of fresh vegetables through its subsidiary Kamps Sperziebonen. Kamps concentrates on harvesting, cultivation and the processing of spring onions, as well as runner beans. Kamps cultivates located in the Netherlands, Germany, and Morocco and its goods are only sold by Scherpenhuizen.
Primeale United is a trading firm that specializes in fresh vegetables.
