Inflation still dropping in Turkey

The inflation of Turkey declined in June however the decline that began in October is ending. With the higher-than-expected figure for June of 3.92 percent month-on-month, the annual inflation continued to decline and dropped to 38.2 percent from 39.6 percentage a month prior.

The recurrence of this downtrend in the last month is due to the lower rate of price hikes for non-food categories compared to the previous year, in spite of recent changes in exchange rates and the impact that continues to be felt from rising demand from the domestic market.
