The quantity of Spanish persimmons has been exceeding the demand. “About three weeks in the past, the first fruits were delivered and we now have ample quantities of the fruit and the cost remains lower than the previous year’s. However, the demand is relatively low so far,” says Seckin Yildirim (right) Sales director of OR-PA GmbH, the Munich wholesale market OR-PA GmbH.

They’re now hoping for an increase in the demand for persimmons around the end to the end of month. Yildirim “Although we’ve already stopped selling from the market, we have lots of stone fruit available in the wholesale market like late nectarines, and peaches. Change in the season of citrus

There were times where Italian items could be sold up until the end of December, according to Yildirim.
