Oboya Horticulture acquires majority stake in Brazilian producer of tray and pots

Oboya Horticulture Industries is acquiring 51% of one the top producers of flower pots and trays within Brazil, Ecovaso Industria Plasticos.

“Ecovaso is active in the Brazilian industry of horticulture since more than 40 years thanks to its top-quality manufacturing and innovation as well as exceptional customer support. Ecovaso has forged a strong relationship with its customers across Brazil”, Oboya says in a press release.

Oboya Horticulture Industries is a multinational manufacturer which has production facilities of 12 in Asia and Latin America and has local sales and service teams across more than 20 nations. A manufacturing firm, Oboya makes substrates, containers tray and flower sleeves FlowPack Fruit and Vegetable packaging, clamshells made of thermally formed punnets, flowers, logistic trolleys and display.

In conjunction with selected, high-quality Manufacturing and manufacturing partners Oboya continues to expand the range of products it offers to give its customers and partners all over the globe with a One-Stop Shop from a manufacturing business.

In joining forces by forming a partnership with Ecovaso and Ecovaso, the company will be changed to Oboya QS Ecovaso on the 1st April 2025. Oboya will supply a broad selection of supplies to the fruit, floral and vegetable industry in Brazil.
