Mukesh Ambani has the world’s largest mango orchards in Asia

The richest Indian man Mukesh Ambani who is the chairperson of Reliance Industries Limited, also is the owner of several other companies like Reliance Retail, Reliance Jio as well as Reliance Jio. But, Mukesh Ambani also owns the biggest mango orchard in Asia.

The tale of Mukesh Ambani’s plan to the mango orchard was first revealed around the end of the 90s in the late nineties, when Reliance faced the challenge to the huge pollution causing by the Jamnagar refinery. Reliance was warned several times by the pollution control board and was required to tackle the enormous pollution emitted by the refinery. It was at this point that Reliance changed the wastelands around the refinery to a lush green belt that contained more than 100,000 mango trees. The orchard was christened Dhirubhai Ambani Lakhibag Amrayee, named after Mukesh Ambani’s father. Reliance Industries founder Dhirubhai Ambani.

“Apart from the most popular Indian varieties, like Kesar and Alphonso Ratna, Sindhu, Neelam and Amrapali We also offer international varieties like Tommy Atkins and Kent from Florida, US, and Lily, Keitt, and Maya from Israel,” a company spokesperson said.
