A 750m2 indoor facility for educational use was opened within the heart of Wangsa Maju, a suburb of Kuala Lumpur, and is open to all visitors.

Gerard states,” The most unique aspect of the project is that EduFarm is that it’s located only 15 minutes away from the bustling downtown and the bustling city centre of Kuala Lumpur. The goal is to bring kids, parents, as well as the general public in the community as well as people living in cities to understand how vegetable farming is feasible just in the middle of the city using modern technological advances.”
The Agroz’s Farm range from salad leaves like the arugula, lettuces and kale to arugula wild and wild rockets to the local variety like Siew pak and nai Choy. The products grown are sold by AEON Alpha Angle and Alpha Angle, as in eight additional AEON stores across the Klang Valley. The Agroz EduFarm in-City is regarded as Malaysia’s biggest vertical farm within the shopping center’, according to Gerard states.
The museum is open to the public
The EduFarm will be open for weekends tours beginning in September 2023. They will demonstrate how the technology it uses produces top-quality, healthy and pesticide-free produce. The EduFarm is home to its own learning centre and activity space that will show children and parents, specifically the possibility of growing vegetables located in the middle of the city.
