There is a shortage of Greek Kakis is not high. “The selling of Greek Kakis is contingent on the demands that is expressed by Jordan who is the most significant purchaser. In the words of the Mr. Xalkidis: “Only some fruits remain on mountains’ farms. We have lower-quality fruits than the previous year. A majority of the fruits fall between 18 to 22. Very few fruit are in between sizes 12-16.”
The amount of Rojo Brillante is, despite being lower than Jiro but is increasing. Its owner Mr. Xalkidis states: “In the past, kakis was a plant for growers who were not professional as they were a low-cost and easy to cultivate. But, over the last few years there has been a rise in farmers growing kakis and paying attention to Rojo Brillante due to it being more lucrative, particularly when in comparison to other fruit like peaches or apples.”
However, Rojo Brillante also requires deastringency treatment. In Greece as per Mr. the Xalkidis family, although the majority of merchants and growers possess deastringency rooms, the process occurs primarily within banana ripening chambers.
