Gilfresh Produce, the vegetable producers and growers located within Co. Armagh, have obtained listings for more than 20 fresh lines within Iceland Foods Northern Ireland stores. New launches will provide Iceland Foods Northern Ireland customers access to top standards of fresh, high-quality vegetables that are grown locally throughout the season of farming.
Gilfresh Produce is a long-established family-owned business that was initially established in the year 1965 by Thomas Gilpin, who started by cultivating vegetables in a field of 4 acres located at Gilpin’s home. It has grown steadily since, and has established its place among the top supplier of vegetable products and growers across the island of Ireland.
The line of products that Gilfresh Produce will supply to thirty-seven Iceland Foods Northern Ireland stores will include a variety of head-on vegetables that are whole, like spring onions, carrots the broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage as well as mushrooms, leeks, and strawberries. Gilfresh will also provide several lines of the Gilfresh Produce prepared vegetable range such as Oriental Stir-Fry Broccoli Florets shredded Cabbage, Cut Soup Veg, Broccoli, Cauliflower and Carrot Mix and Carrot Batons.
Iceland Foods Northern Ireland is pleased to work with local suppliers as well as farmers. There are more than 400 local-produced products available both in stores and on the internet.
