Average monthly EU price of apples (ex-packaging station) were EUR0.80 per kilogram in Germany in February. France had the most expensive cost with EUR1.36 per kilogram, while the Netherlands were at EUR1.11 per kilogram, as did Austria. Austria was at EUR1.05 per kilogram.

EU apple production estimates are most favorable in that of Golden Delicious variety, at 2168,000 tons. Gala reaching 1,527,000 tonnes.
