In the last few years, Moyca has been working through the winter months to satisfy the demands of its customers throughout this time. “In the current season of imports we’ve increased our sales volume due to the confidence of our customers and the growing use of grapes without seeds,” declares Juan Jose Ibarra.

In the present, 90% of the supermarkets offer imported goods and we’ve increased our presence in line with. “At present, deliveries to Asia are only carried via air, at very high costs, and consequently only in smaller quantities,” says Juan Jose Ibarra. “These markets do not take massive quantities of wine therefore it is possible to source alternatives from such areas as Eastern Europe, where the market is growing rapidly. States like Poland, Romania, Lithuania or Lithuania, Czech Republic or even Switzerland are typically destinations for Italian wine, but these markets are increasingly relying on us and order our wine sooner,” he says.
