Belarus’s approach to strategic food security: planning for the off-season 2023-2024

MART utilizes a systematic method by analyzing the data from three years of sales in order to determine stabilization money. In calculating requirements based on the monthly averages, MART ensures effective planning. When the season is not in full swing they identify and spread demands local. MART implements measures such as export licenses in order to tackle problems with shortages and aims to have 100percent domestic production. In spite of the possibility of shortages in off-season (e.g. tomatoes and cucumbers, etc.) MART’s greenhouse modernization efforts are focused on meeting the demands in that time.
