The Pea and Bean Growers Association (PBGA) is thrilled to invite industry professionals to their biennial conference which is sponsored by Hutchinsons and taking within just two weeks, at the Boston United Football’s Jakemans Stadium.

The conference will begin with a dinner prior to the conference on the 6th of November, Wednesday and will be held in Jakemans Stadium. Sponsored by Syngenta The event begins with a cocktail reception that is generously supported by the Church of Bures.

The 7th of November, on the 7th of November the attendees will gather in Jakemans Stadium for a day full of insightful discussion and news on the latest changes in the business.
The highlights of the conference are:
A brief overview on the YesPeas! advertising campaign.
* A talk delivered by Sam Trevey from Red Tractor focused on making sure that Red Tractor assessments remain effective and applicable to growers of peas that are vining within Producer Organisations (POs).
* Talk delivered by Simon Conway, CEO of HCP discussing crop protection in the both the present and in the near future.
* Becky Howard and Chris Judge from PGRO will discuss the latest problems and ways to address the issues.
* A briefing from the Lincolnshire Rural Support Network (LRSN) on the crucial activities they perform for the the agricultural, horticultural, and other communities.
* A panel discussion on “Navigating the challenges and opportunities in the Pea and Bean Industry” which was moderated by Jack Ward, Director of British Growers, featuring perspectives from processors, growers as well as a researcher.
