Aartsen goes India

“Our policy has always been focused on the broad range of distribution and import. We have facilities located in three countries: the Netherlands, Belgium and Hong Kong and Hong Kong, we purchase everything fresh from more than 800 farmers from 60 nations across the globe and supply products daily to over 1250 customers in the Benelux and the Far East,” says Menno van Breemen, a director of Aartsen. Aartsen has been specialized on the supply and import of vegetables and fruits in fresh condition since 1907.

“Over twelve years ago we founded Aartsen Asia, based on the same goals and principles that we have in Benelux distribution as well as added value for our producer. The Hong Kong office has grown to a staff of over thirty international employees as we are constantly developing to reach more growth.” Menno continues.

“Together together, we will make use of this knowledge to create the foundation of future business operations we plan to conduct in India. Always ready for the challenge of a new one, we have an ambition to set up an office new in Mumbai soon. We are searching for motivated and enthusiastic sales leaders to establish and develop the business.”

“The main focus is on growing our vegetable and fruit offer to India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. We already operate in the region through in our Hong Kong office, but we’re convinced that the presence of a physical office is vital. Aartsen can build a large network, and will innovate to increase the market share we have in this thriving region. This way we are able to provide our producers more when we purchase more sizes product, styles, varieties, and categories of quality. Along with our producers We always aim to deliver the best product in the correct place to ensure the best results.”
