The shoppers at Sainsbury’s were shocked when they were cost PS15 just for one onion. Particularly, shoppers were confronted with the pricey vegetables at the online payment system. A customer was hit with a an amount of PS45.39 when she threw three brown onions that were loose into her cart.
Sainsbury’s apologized, and blamed a glitch on its website. They told its customers that they are disappointed: “I’m sorry the price is excessive on your website. The price will be at the correct rate on the day of delivery.”
